Our wood mantels are shipped unfinished and ready to stain or paint the color of your choice. Achieving the glossy, stained results as shown in the pictures involves a three step process. First a hand rubbed stain coat is applied(from Sherwin Williams or equal). That is followed by an application of a sanding sealer to smooth the grain. Finally a finish coat of gloss varnish is applied.
Wood mantels feature easy installation, and come with complete instructions. The mantels are shipped unassembled.

LARGE MANTELS:
Shipping and handling via common carrier(our selection) IS included in price. Residential delivery, however, IS NOT included. A freight company is contracted by us to deliver your merchandise to a LOCAL TERMINAL. See Terms and Conditions for more information.
